Account Managers play a critical role in the company. In addition to consulting with new clients to set up their online database and registration, each Account Manager is responsible for providing training and ongoing support to his or her own base of clients. As the central online database and management system, our software is usually the core of our clients’ businesses. With a combination of technical and personal skills, Thriva's Account Managers are well-equipped to understand and meet their clients’ needs.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the needs and success of their own client base (80-100 clients)
- Closely consult with clients to customize and setup their online database and registration system to meet their specific needs and optimize their operations
- Train clients on system features
- Provide day to day technical support and guidance to their clients
- Work closely with Junior Account Managers, Database Technicians, and development team to solve problems and satisfy client requests
- Provide feedback to the development team on issues relating to the system (including ideas for new features, improvements, and fixes)
Majors
All majors welcome (skills and personal qualities listed below are most important). However, majors that could potentially provide this skill-set are MIS/Business Administration/CIS.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent Communication Skills and Presentation Skills
- Basic knowledge of database concepts
- Understanding of computer programming concepts
- Knowledge of basic HTML (not necessary, but a plus)
- Customer Service Experience (not necessary, but a plus)
