Thriva Launches League Software Division
Thriva’s LeagueRegister set to provide next generation tools for leagues and clubs
BOTHELL, WA – October 19, 2006 – This month, Thriva launched its LeagueRegister division for leagues and clubs to enable participants to register and pay online and allow league organizers to manage their databases, scheduling, and facilities. Thriva, which already works with over 1,000 organizations including leagues, launched LeagueRegister in response to the industry’s need for improved registration, scheduling, and facility management solutions.
“There are a number of technology options for leagues,” explains Thriva co-founder Matt Ehrlichman. “However, in our discussions with these organizations, we find that they remain underserved and are seeking improved technology that will virtually eliminate their workload. Rather than solely providing the ability to streamline registrations, LeagueRegister is a full-service technology solution custom designed for leagues.”
With LeagueRegister, league organizers will be able to receive registrations and payments online. In addition to the conveniences of eliminating paper forms, leagues will also be able to manage all of their players, facilities, finances, teams, schedules, and tournaments from their web-based management systems.
Chicago Sport and Social Club, the largest sport and social club in the US, and operates sports leagues for tens of thousands of players. The organization recently signed a long-term partnership with Thriva’s LeagueRegister division because of its flexible online registration system and depth of the management tools. “Using Thriva will provide a better experience for the participant and give our staff tremendous organizational tools to help us operate more efficiently,” explains Jason Erkes, President of Chicago Sport and Social Club.
Utilizing Thriva’s technology, leagues such as Chicago Sport and Social Club are able to not only accept online registrations, but easily create their teams, automatically schedule their games, record the scores, and automatically generate tournament brackets. Additionally, leagues are able to post real-time schedules, standings, and tournament brackets on their website (click for an example).
In addition to leagues, Thriva is a leading provider of online registration and database management software in a wide range of other industries including: corporations, conferences, universities, government agencies, camps, schools, classes, museums, zoos, and non-profits.
