There are 4 different Merge Behaviors available to set for your database fields: Newest, Newest Non-Blank, Cancel Merge If Different and Concatenate Values.
| 1. | Newest: When this behavior is set, the system will keep only the most recently entered value for a database field, even if that answer is blank. |
| 2. | Newest Non-Blank: The default behavior when creating a new field, Newest Non-Blank keeps the most recently entered data, unless that field is blank. If the most recently entered data is blank, the original value will be kept. |
| 3. | Cancel Merge If Different: If the values for a database field are different when this merge behavior is specified, the merge will be canceled. |
| 4. | Concatenate Values: This behavior will combine the values of the database fields being merged. Concatenate can only be used successfully on Listbox and Checkbox database field questions. |
