Setting up Financial Option Capacities

Top  Previous  Next

Financial option capacities allow you to limit the number of times a particular financial option is purchased per event or  globally among all programs a financial option is tied to.

1.Create your financial option and click save.
2. Click on the “Quantity & Capacity” tab.
3.Select the way you want capacities to work for the financial option you are working on.  The "Global Capacity across all Events" option allows you to make the capacity you set apply to all programs this financial option is allocated towards.  The "Capacity for each Event" option allows you to set the capacity for this financial option at a specific capacity for each program this financial option is allocated towards.  For example if you set the capacity to 15 for each event, you will be able to have 15 people purchase the financial option for every event this financial option is assigned to.

Additional Explanations

The "Count By" option allows you to specify the way you want this financial option to consider the way capacity spots are taken.
The "When Full" option allows you to choose how this financial option will function when the capacity is reached.  The default for this option is to have the financial option disappear when the capacity is reached.  If you select "Display a Message:" and type the message you want to display in the field provided, the entered text will display when the capacity is reached online.
The Display Spots Remaining option allows you to make capacity spots remaining to become visible online when a specific number of spots available are reached. .
