Using the Assignment Center for Group Registration |

Different groups (teams, companies, families, etc.) will be created in the Assignment Center by you or created through the registration form by your Registrants. You can also use the Assignment Center to set the "Primary Contact" for a group, and set/edit the group password.
Creating New Groups in the Assignment Center for Group Registration
If you are going to create groups for a program ahead of time, you will need to create the Groups in the Assignment Center.
1. Load up the Assignment Center, and then click on the Manage Groups tab.
2. Create a new Group Type by clicking on "Add" a. This will be the overall name/type of the group. For example, if you are going to register "Teams," the Group Type would be Teams.
3. Once the Group Type has been created, begin to add the individual Groups by clicking on "Add" in the lower section of the Assignment Center a. These are the actual Groups that people will register for. In the "Teams" example, if you are going to have the teams "Lions" and "Tigers," you would enter them here.
4. When all the Groups have been created, click on the Assignments tab at the top of the Assignment Center.
5. You can now edit/set the passwords and Primary/Backup contact for each individual group by clicking on the Group Name in the lower left portion of the Assignment Center. a. Please note you will have the ability to turn on/off required passwords in the Form Builder for your group registration form.
